Guide to ACNH Villagers

Getting your dream team on your Island can be hard. 

So what can you do to help the process along?

→Purchase the characters you want using an Amiibo

    Did you know you can make your own Amiibo? There is currently a FREE way of creating an Amiibo.

→Purchase the characters in a ACNH online community using virtual Currency or Trade

    Nookazon and Reddit both have a large community that advertises their villagers are in boxes and are ready to leave their Island. On Nookazon, each character roughly cost 20 NMTs. The new villagers that were released are currently selling for 100+ NMTs.

💥Kicking Out Unwanted Villagers 🥾💥

My favorite way of kicking out a villager, for those who time skip:

-When a villager has a thought bubble, I end the session. Ex: 6/10/2020

-I change the clock to next day. Ex: 6/11/2020

-I save the game and return back to the prior day. Ex. 6/10/2020

-I go look to see which villager now wants to leave my Island. If it isn't the one I want, I continue to repeat the process. Note: This could be frustrating as sometimes it will repeat the same villager wanting to leave. Keep trying, the thought bubble will eventually be over someone else. If no one has a thought bubble when you return back to the prior day, change the time of day. 

Personality Types

Did you know there are 8 different personalities!

 Normal, Snooty, Cranky, Sisterly, Lazy, peppy, Jock, and Smug. 

Each personality type can only craft specific DIYs!!!

This means that if you do not have a smug character, you will not be able to acquire a DIY they only make such as the Golden Candlestick DIY. That is why some may try to collect the whole spectrum on their Island. 

Personality Types Teach You Specific Reactions!!!

For Example:

Lazy Villagers Give you: Shyness, Sorrow, Mistaken, Bashfulness, Pride Reactions

ACNH THEME: Birthday Party

My Birthday on May 26th

One thing that I love about animal crossing are the numerous themes animal crossing has. One of my favorites is the birthday party theme. Every year on your birthday, your villagers will throw you a fun birthday surprise party where you will receive gifts and birthday items.

*Disclaimer: Only villagers that you have become good friends with will come to your birthday party. I was upset at first that not all my villagers came to my birthday surprise party but it was because not all of my villagers were considered my good friend.

One of your villagers will host the party with a cute birthday table and piñata. You get to blow out the candles on your birthday cake and hit the piñata for birthday cupcakes! At any point in the game when you give a villager a birthday cupcake, they will give you a gift in return.

Birthday items that you can buy on animal crossing are:

• Birthday hats
• Birthday cake
• Birthday table
• Birthday sign
• Birthday candles
• Birthday sunglasses
• Party garland

Once you have all the birthday items you can create cool birthday events with your friends!!

Beginners Guide to Nookazon

Welcome Animal Crossing New Horizon Fans!

One of the most fun things you can do is buy and sell virtual items with other people! A very well known shopping site where players can trade items with each other is Nookazon (Amazon...Nookazon!?) how cool!

What can you do on Nookazon and what should you know?

-Sell, Auction, and buy items!

The currency that most players ask for on Nookazon is Nook Mile Tickets (NMTs). Bells also act as a currency. However, when you start using Nookazon, you will notice that NMTs is more commonly used. 

-There are many sellers on Nookazon and sometimes they wish to sell their item for an item they are seeking. This is displayed on their "Wishlist". If you want to buy their item but don't have an item they want, then you may have to find their wishlist item and buy it yourself. Sounds kinda fun if you ask me!

-The one thing I love about Nookazon is RATINGS. You can rate people on your experience purchasing or selling to them. I currently hold 128 reviews which is a wonderful feeling. I love selling to my community and I love the positive feedback I receive. 

My Adventures on Nookazon

→When I first started Nookazon...

The first thing I ever sold was cloud floorings! 

I posted the listing at night for 2 NMTs and went to bed... BIG MISTAKE! 😱

The next morning, over 40 people messaged me about my cloud flooring! I was very overwhelmed but I survived, as you all can see. I felt popular for the first time in my life! But better yet... one of the people I sold to became my best friend on ACNH! We teamed up and now work together to create listings and help each other sell items on Nookazon. 

→Lets talk Villagers! 

Do you have a dream team? I do and I was able to acquire them all, using Nookazon as a helping tool. I got lucky with Raymond the cat because I found him on an Island. His average price on Nookazon is 600 NMTs since he does not have an Amiibo and he is on the top 10 most wanted... villagers (only crime he ever committed was being cute 💘).
